On our nation 40.5Kv transmission line, there is still massive adoption of various fuses. For the terminal station especially,because of its low rated current and rated short-circuit current,like "waste one's talent on a pretty job" , far from economy.
Load switch or load switch and fuse composed electric apparatus are widely adopted abroad for its economy, convenience ,safety, and dependability . For our country, SF6 load switch is unavailable on 40.5kV voltage degree. The only choice is using 36kV air load switch from other country,however, its insulation level doesn't meet our nation standard,it still unsuited for the running on our nation grid.
For the above reasons,we developed XGN65-40.5 Indoor HV SF6 Ring main unit.
