Metal Clad Gas Insulated Switchgear SF6 Ring Main Unit Medium Voltage Switchgear
HXGT6 (XGN58)-12 SF6 Ring Main Unit Switchgear is designed and developed by our company based on actual power supply situation of our nation. It is a new generation indoor 10kV MV electric appliance, and can be applied in city grid transformation and construction, the product is subjected to type test and commissioning examination, the performance indexes meet the requirements of IEC 298 “AC Metal Closed Switchgear”. It processes the advantages of small volume, low weight, simple operation, safe use, high reliability without influencing by environment and weather and maintenance-free.
The switchgear is a kind of composite apparatus which seals all main circuits in a metal enclosure and take SF6 gas as arc extinguishing and insulation medium. It is suitable for ring network power supply and double radiates power supply in 10kV MV power supply network. It is also used in terminal power supply. Due to the use of ring network power supply increases the reliability of power supply, it is specially used in mineral plants, residence area, schools, parks, and so on for power distribution and controlling. In addition, because of its convenient connection and installation, small volume, it is also used in the substation as high voltage equipment on primary side.
a. Usually, RMU consists of three compartments. Load switchgear is arranged in sealed enclosure welded by stainless steel plate and filled with 0.04Mpa SF6 gas for arc-extinguishing and insulated media.
b. Load switchgear arranged inside has three positions, closing- disconnecting-earthing, all positions are shown by indicators in the panels of mechanism.
c. Cable connectors (bushing) are used for cable incoming and outgoing.
d. Compartments of the switchgear with a separate operation mechanism can realize manual operation or simultaneous manual and motor operation for opening and closing in the operation panels.
e. Fuse is installed in an epoxy canister at the middle of cabinet. The pin clashing mechanism of fuse is connected with the tripping device of operation mechanism of load switch. When a failure happens and fuse breaks, the trip mechanism will be triggered and then causes load switch to trip.
f. Load switch adopts arc rotation to extinguish arc , service life of contacts is long.
g. There is a pressure gage in the front of switchgear for detecting the pressure of SF6 gas inside the cubicle
h. To prevent too high gas pressure in equipment caused by a circuit failure, a pressure releasing device is installed at the bottom of the switchgear.
